The truth of the falling rocks of ice.

In a day like this one, a late november one, when rocks of ice fall from the roofs as the snow melts, I am more pesimistic than ever.
Some time ago, we, most of the Spanish people, screamed all around the world the famous “NO A LA GUERRA”. We did not want to go to war with the the USA and its friends against Irak, the people talked and that pro-war government was erased from power. Those were the times where the opposition claimed and complained that Aznar´s people were selling weapons to third world countries and supporting the American neoimperialism for the shake of the future distribution of the oil cake.
Mr Zapatero dared one day to talk in front of the UN general assembly, idealistic but brave, and propouse his famous “pact of civilizations”. Yesterday and today in Barcelona he defended it in front of the Euro-Mediterranean countries, whatever that means, looking for support and real actions to face the so called “biggest scourge of the 21st century”. Curious fact, but today also Spain signed a contract with Venezuela(http://www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2005/11/28/espana/1133186293.html)(http://www.elpais.es/articulo/elpepiesp/20050419elpepinac_26/Tes/Bono%20acusa%20al%20PP%20de%20practicar%20una%20doble%20moral%20con%20las%20ventas%20de%20armas%20a%20Venezuela). Nothing bad in principle, but alarming when considering that we are selling them weapons, whatever the kind and the use. Where is the pact? Where is the people´s will legitimally expressed with the tears and the blood of our dearest ones??
Democracy in Europe, in Spain as well, has reached a meaningless level.Come and vote for us, for the change! - they say. Vote for Europe!-they repeat. But, do we realize what lies behind all these motos?? I try to find out and I want to believe that is not money, but human ignorance. Human greed and human disrespect, the anxiety of power and richness, the deviation of the problem towards something more “eatable”, more entertaining, the invisible brain poluter of the post-modernist days.

La asesina de los sueños

What your hears can take…
I have been lately devoting myself to some kind of “how your brain works” debate and I have reached some conclusions, like or not, you gotta read them.
Discussions with Grazia are enriching and gratifying, but there is some point of disagreement between us. I personally think that we are all darker and more mysterious than we think, which maybe makes me a weirder person that you may think. Nevertheless, I do believe that humans have twisted brains, highly scared of people’s looks, reactions, comments. Let me illustrate this:
I fully consider that we are all like human separatist states. But we do not like to sell that image of us, either because of the other people’s reactions or just because in order to socialize we need to sell a friendly image, especially to those who we consider our closest partners. But if I have to measure how much of what you think you can share, how close you can go into a relation with a person, my skepticism leads me to a very low percentage. Maybe it is just me, a single mortal, maybe I do not get to close with people, maybe people think they have friends to whom they can tell everything just to reinforce the separatist wall I mentioned and highlight their own nation-body. From now on I think I will be paying special attention to that dark side of my brain, the one that sleeps during the day and grows during the night, the one full of dreams, fears and fantasies, the one I believe it will take my whole life to get to know it myself (if I finally do) and I wish I could share it, but I guess it is too chaotic, melancholic, idealistic, impenetrable, overwhelmed. For now I materialize it through words, looks, kisses, smiles and messy ideas, but always involved myself in the fight against nationalist attitudes, as I believe frontiers are harmful for mankind.

Let the energy and the stars be with you

I wanted to complain again today, but considering that is already friday, I decided to just show my world what happens around me these days. We had that party last weekend, where we all behaved like monkeys, snicky ones and still the pics are showing the magnificience of the night. Furthemore, I wanted to complain cause Wei Yu does not have to clean the kitchen, me neihter, but after seeing the bowl of biscuits I will forgive that. Also after checking out his outfit last friday. And something else, I think my energy is getting stronger, today I broke a phone with my mind, and also met people when I am talking about them. The revival of the rod.

L ´hexagone of wrath

Why do they do it?
I do not have much time lately to update this "thing" whatever it is and whatever use it has, but today I felt I needed to complain. I had to do it for one reason, the violence spreading around Europe due to social discrimination. Personally, when living and working in France I "tasted" the reality of the muslim- african population living in France. Those days I always thought that It was great how a country like France could manage to harmonise and bring together people from so many contries, make them believe that they are real and full rights frenchies and even bring them to share the values of the republic. All bull -shit, that self expression of the "national identity" is far from being true. Those youngsters that I met felt marginalised and for that reason they were violent and angry, they never trusted anyone apart from themselves and their hatry towards France and their love towards their real countries was kept inside, like locked up in an iron cage.
And then comes the more than possible future president de la republique, Mr "I ll say what I want" and lights the spark. Insulting those youngsters means digging his own grave. Of course they will burn cars, houses, schools and churches. Thats what you get when you leave thousands of immigrants and suns and daughters of immigrants in the streets, with no jobs and no future expectations. My question at this point is " Why are they susrprised? Why the French government is not assuming itw own responsability and heads are starting to roll??Why did they do it when the EU constitution was rejected??I simply think that missconsideting the importance of this current vioalence will only bring more violence, also widely spread around Europe.
Solutions?? heads off, ashes kicked, emplyment programs in the banlieus and a better and more equal France not only in speeches and oratoria. French people have a lot to think, a lot of work to do together, starting by giving priority to who deserves it.
